Daemon<\/strong> est le mot latin du grec ancien daimon (\u03b4\u03b1\u03af\u03bc\u03c9\u03bd : \u00ab\u00a0dieu\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0divinit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0pouvoir\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0destin\u00a0\u00bb). Le mot grec ancien original \u03b4\u03b1\u03af\u03bc\u03c9\u03bd daim\u014dn n’a pas de connotation n\u00e9gative, mais d\u00e9signe un esprit ou un pouvoir divin, comme le latin genius ou numen.
